please comment/critique
This is a self portrait with a bit of a twist. this seal on the ground is an idea for a tattoo I am working out for me and my brother. it actually says 'Pennington' our family name.
Edit: The pose was a bit difficult to render but I had a refrence picture taken by my younger brother. I think next time ill go for over the head shot to get some intense forshortening. Im still learning afterall.
I used a tutorial for the magic circle by

and as for the characters within the circle its a font called as Theban which can be located at Fonsts.com

That circle thing he's standing on looks like something from Fullmetal alchemist. I like the dark tones you used on the person. It makes it look 3D-ish. Is he looking at something or at the sky?

yeah the magic circle has been used since ancient times such as the lesser key of Solomon suggest. Full Metal alchemist goes into this a bit. <3 it all. Thanks for the comments!
